Turbo Competence Centre
Turbocharger expertise at all levels
Since 2025, the Turbo Competence Centre in Frechen near Cologne has been expanding the bilstein group's range of services.
Whether testing, repair or conversion – at the Turbo Competence Centre, we offer comprehensive expertise in all aspects of turbochargers with 25 specialised employees, regular training by OE manufacturers and strict testing processes.
Defective turbochargers are diagnosed quickly, competently and in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9001:2000. The turbochargers are professionally dismantled and tested using modern testing technology.
With industrially remanufactured turbochargers, we also offer a competitively priced alternative for engines that have been in service for several years at the Turbo Competence Centre. The reconditioning of a submitted turbocharger is carried out in a multi-stage, complex process.
In addition to repairing turbochargers for the spare parts business, we also manufacture special turbochargers in small series according to customer requirements. These special turbochargers are used, for example, in industrial engines, marine engines and in the motorsport and tuning sector.
Clutch Competence Centre
A full product range, tested to
the highest standards
In 2017 the bilstein group introduced the Clutch Competence Centre in Durmersheim (Germany).
At this centre, our employees strive to optimise processes and expand the car and truck clutch range. As a result of extensive testing, we ensure that only high-quality clutch components are included in the programme.
At the Clutch Competence Centre all clutch components undergo stringent quality tests.
With the aid of an automated measurement tool, all product dimensions are checked to be accurate to the thousandth in order to guarantee a perfect fit. We also use special test beds to ensure the correct durability, functionality and driving comfort is achieved.
